This was collected from Ulverston in April 2005 where it had turned up in a scrap yard. Upon return to Workington it was squeezed into the shed so that it could be worked on.

The fire pump trailer was originally from the Workington Steel Works although details of  when this pump was built, type and make of engine are still being sought.

Since arrival at Workington the pump has been stripped down and cleaned/repaired as required. By April 2007 the engine and pump were running once more which only left minor work and paintwork to complete.
